What is your policy for hiring/using the LED dance floor?
If the dance floor is agreed between the hirer and the owner to be used outdoors, then all requirements HAVE to be followed.
This includes:
-
Using the supplied tarps to cover the dance floor during the day if delivery has to be earlier then late afternoon, and then at night after the party finishes to prevent dew/moisture getting to the electrics of the dance floor.
-
No food or drink to be consumed on the dance floor. (this will help prevent slip hazards)
-
No glass or heavy objects to be brought onto the dance floor that could be dropped and crack/break the dance floor.
-
No high heels or footwear with sharp/rough souls to be on the dance floor.
-
There is a $50 cleaning fee with all hires of the LED dance floor.
Does the laser and or strobing lights affect someone with epilepsy?
According to a report by Saul Mullen, Austin Health, Melbourne Victoria posted in the Epilepsy Report October 2008 the strobe lights used in nightclubs occasionally precipitate seizures but they are usually relatively slow (<5Hz). It is also often difficult to separate the risks posed by alcohol and sleep deprivation from that of the strobe light. If you do suffer from epilepsy, it is at your own risk to go ahead an hire the equipment.
What is your cancellation policy?

Should the hirer CANCEL their booking with MORE than 7 days available to the commencement of the period of hire, the 50% non-refundable deposit is forfeited and the remaining 50% balance (if paid) shall be refunded.
